KID IKARUS:
With punk rock in the heart, love of experiments in the head and precious
diletantism in the fingertips Kid Ikarus means living room beats with
landscape bleeps on sound storage media and an entertaining lo-fi mess,
yet throughout charismatic shows on stage.
In one moment songstructures hailing from a posthardcore background meet
one-man-show-poppycock, in the next moment instrumental jewels meet electronic
puppet theater. It's all about the mixture - handicrafs, driving beats,
ticklish synth melodies and coincidence.
